Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana is one of the most anticipated films in recent times. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the movie is expected to be a grand cinematic adaptation of the ancient Indian epic.
Recently, a new picture from the sets went viral, reportedly indicating that the first part of the mythological epic has been completed.
Now, Kapoor’s fan page on X (formerly Twitter) shows the actor posing with a fan, wearing a purple hoodie and cap.Another picture captures the crew posing together on set after finishing Part 1. The film has now entered the post-production phase, signaling that extensive VFX work is underway.
In a recent conversation with Nikhil Kamath, Ranbir revealed that he has been dedicating three to four hours a day to training for his upcoming film role. When asked about the project, he mentioned that the details have not been disclosed yet.

According to Pinkvilla, Nitesh Tiwari and the team are shooting Ramayana as a two-part saga featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sai Pallavi, and Sunny Deol. Due to the film’s scale and magnitude, the makers have decided on a two-part approach to telling the story. Unlike most projects that wait for the results of the first part before proceeding with the second, ‘Ramayana’ will be shot simultaneously.
Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor will portray the role of Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, while Sai Pallavi will play Sita. Accordingly, KGF star Yash is cast as Raavan. Coincidentally, Arun Govil, who played Lord Ram in Sagar’s Ramayan, is also part of the film, taking on the role of King Dasharatha. Additionally, Lara Dutta will portray the character of Kaikeyi.
In addition to Tiwari’s Ramayana, Kapoor is also working on ‘Animal Park’ and ‘Love and War’, both of which are in the pipeline.
