Speaking with Ranveer Allahbadia, Chhabra reflected on Salman Khan’s legacy and his iconic performances in several films. When asked whether he agrees with the notion that Salman is an underutilized actor, Chhabra disagreed, saying, “No, he has given many great performances.”
Chhabra, who directed the late Sushant Singh Rajput in Dil Bechara, highlighted some of Salman Khan’s standout films, including Baaghi, Patthar Ke Phool, Tere Naam, Love, and Hum Aapke Hain Koun.He stressed that no one could replicate Salman’s performances in these movies.
Addressing why some people might think Salman is underutilized, Chhabra noted that when Salman wants to deliver a powerful performance, he certainly does, as evidenced by his work in numerous iconic Hindi films.
Discussing the narratives created around Salman Khan, Chhabra mentioned that these ideas often originate from a few voices on social media. He humorously pointed out that “random people like Chintu, Bablu, and Tinku” are responsible for spreading such narratives.
Chhabra further praised Salman Khan’s roles in films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, No Entry, and Partner, saying that no one else could have portrayed those “simple and honest” characters the way Salman did. He added that these films became hits without the extensive promotional strategies that are common today, indicating their timeless appeal.

Sharing his experience of working with SRK on the film Jawan, Chhabra mentioned that Shah Rukh’s dedication to his craft is awe-inspiring. Despite his success, SRK continues to work with a level of passion that sets him apart. “Looking at him, one would think a person should be just like him,” Chhabra remarked.

“That’s my main focus. How do I ping-pong between the two and do them well, but also find a way to carve out time for myself, which I’m not able to do. Alia explained that while motherhood brings a deep sense of fulfillment, it also comes with constant fear and anxiety about wanting to do things right. She mentioned that in a society like India, where helicopter parenting is common, she follows advice from her parents, who told her that children come through their parents, but their lives ultimately belong to them. “Children come through you. They’re yours, you are a catalyst, you are a source for their life, but their life is not yours. Their life is theirs, and you just need to give them the tools to deal with their life,” she reflected while echoing advice from her parents.
Her experience as a mother may be influencing her acting choices but Alia mentioned that when she signed Jigra, she had just given birth to her Raha. “So I think I was in my tigress mode, where I was like, I need to protect my cub,” she stated.

Alia’s upcoming film Jigra, which she co-produced, revolves around sibling love and protection. Also starring Vedang Raina, the film is set to release on October 11. Alia is also working on Alpha, the seventh installment in YRF’s spy universe, starring alongside Sharvari, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor.
